Low Back Pain
Low back pain is one of the most debilitating types of discomfort many people face. At Churn Creek Chiropractic, we make it our priority to help you reduce the pain you have and improve your quality of life. For some, aches and pains in the lower back are a direct cause of auto accidents or other injuries such as slips and falls. When this occurs, it is important for you to seek out chiropractor care immediately. Our Redding chiropractor can help you.
The jarring movement of a car being hit can cause a significant amount of back pain. In other cases, you may be involved in an accident or a fall in which you feel very little pain. Perhaps you have aches instead of acute pain. In all situations, such movements alter the alignment of the spine and the joints in the body. This creates pain in the lower back. The force of such an accident can create damage within the alignment of your joints. This does not always cause severe pain! However, it can create chronic pain and discomfort that lasts long after any bruises are healed.
When a force occurs on the spine, the alignment of the spinal column can changes. Those changes place pressure on the discs located between each of the bones of the spinal column, called vertebrae. This creates a pinching of the nerve and painful pressure on the muscles in the area. Whether you have acute pain, often from the pinched nerve, or a dull ache, such as from muscle soreness and joint concerns, you should obtain care.
When you come in to see your chiropractor at Churn Creek Chiropractic, we’ll conduct a thorough physical examination and talk to you about the pain, limited movement you have, and any other symptoms you suffer from. We’ll talk about any auto accident or personal injury you’ve suffered as well. After obtaining this information, we can offer a proper recommendation for care for you.
Dr. Donovan Hutchings D.C. and Dr. Stephen Edwards D.C. are experienced in providing care to those suffering from mild to severe low back pain. Our treatment plan may include the use of manual adjustments to the spinal column and other joints. Adjustments help to move the spinal column back into place, reduce the inflammation to the nerves, and help to get the musculoskeletal system and nervous system communicating properly again.
Our goal is not to treat your pain with pain medications. Rather, our goal is to get to the root of the problem and solve it to the highest level possible. Chiropractic care can help to give you better pain control or elimination as well as better range of movement.
Low back pain should never be ignored. When you contact our chiropractor, you’ll get the one-on-one care you need to restore your highest quality of life possible.
